Apprenticeship Opportunities

May 2007 – Amber Kilbourn, a student in the Environmental Leadership program at Bayridge Secondary school spent a week with us learning how to make paddles as part of a co-op credit

Spring 2009 – Brian Reid, a student in the Outdoor and Experiential Education Program at Queen’s University completed an alternative placement at Echo Paddles, learning how the ropes of how to make canoe paddles. During his apprenticeship, Brian not only helped out in the paddle shop, but also built a beautiful Reflection model paddle of his own.

I still love to teach!  Contact me if you are interested in helping in the shop
